A single story was running from days but suddenly it changes to two beautiful stories. That story of Kiran was running from days behind my story as a secret one. But today was a day which reveled everything..
I was sitting on my bed. Kiran's mobile had a new message; I took his mobile and saw that. It was from Kavitha saying good morning. I made Kiran wake up saying that his darling messaged him. He woke up scolding me and started on mobile. He abruptly laughs loud and starts smiling. This guy is already into trouble and nothing’s in my hand. The only thing I can do is to hide it from Pari.
We were having a chat at Office canteen and the topic was 'Beauty depends on how we see.!'. Kiran was saying 'The things which we like, looks beautiful to us.! Like I..' He stopped suddenly. I thought he almost said it out. But he was intelligent enough to cover the situation and he said, '..like I like Pari'. Everyone was laughing at him and Pari said 'But I don't like you..!'. The conversation went beautiful that I almost impressed Pari. Shiva was asking everyone a question.
'Which girl/boy did you like the most in our batch?'
Kiran said Pari, Mahita said Shiva, Neha said my name and
I said 'I like everyone..!' Everyone was looking at me with a smile and Pari said, 'I like you because you said that.!!' I smiled but what I really wanted to do was 'dance'. Bells were ringing in my heart and I was not able to control it. I was in excitement.
Kiran went out on some work. He forgot his mobile. When I went to his desk Pari was sitting there looking at his mobile.
I warned her 'It’s not manners looking at other’s mobile.' and I smiled.
But Pari was silent and I was curious to know what happened with his mobile.
'I am waiting for Kiran' She said and I can hear anger in her throat.
Two minutes after she said that Kiran was there. She asked him to come out.
Kiran asked me to come with him. I asked 'why?’.
‘ My FB was open when I left and message Inbox was open when I came back. She must have seen all the messages.’
We were walking out and she made us got into a bus. We were at the uncle's tiffen stall. She made us sit and almost shouted. ‘What was that?’
Kiran looked at me and was thinking what to say. He smiled and turned to Pari saying ‘My mobile!!’. Pari beat him on the shoulder and said ‘Say the truth’.
He started looking downwards and spoke.
‘I knew her from my childhood as you know. When I saw her after long time, I felt great. I will come directly to the point. I think am falling for her. I like her so much.’
Pari was looking at him like she was going to kill him. She smiled suddenly and laughed out…and said ‘I know everything, Kavitha hides nothing from me.’
Kiran said ‘I shouldn’t have spoke all that.!!’
Pari smiled again and I was watching her with happiness ‘I wanted to know if you liked her and I got my answer!’ She saw at me and smiled. I smiled unconsciously.
Kiran asked a question ‘Does she like me?’
I opened my mouth and was looking at Kiran, then I heard Pari say ‘I think so!’ . Kiran’s face was glowing like a high luminous star. And what I was thinking was entirely different.
I was thinking ‘My story started before Kiran’s. Aah, his started in his schooling. Why didn't my story start in schooling? Why is she not Asha’s sister? Why didn’t I meet Pari instead of Kiran? See how fast is Kiran’s story.. Looks like everything will be set for him soon.. What about me………’
