I was at Kiran's desk. We were discussing about breakfast made by
our cook. He was threatening him for such a worse one. I was laughing at those
words. Suddenly Pari was there, she took a book into her hand. She was in a
rage. She started beating Kiran. Kiran was asking what was that! I was looking
at her enjoying her beat Kiran. She beat him until she was tired.
She sat down and I asked, 'What was that?''. Kiran shouted,'Did
you get mad?'. She said, 'They were from Bandhan collection'. 'You cheap fellow
Kiran.!' She almost shouted. I was laughing. She was smiling now. Kiran asked,
'How did you come to know?' he looked at me and was about to kick me but Pari
said, 'How did you think that I would never come to know! I saw it in their
website.' Kiran sat back into his seat and he laughed aloud. He said after few
seconds, 'How come I forgot about a thing called technology?' and he started
banging his head on the table. Pari stopped him and laughed. Kiran has that
positive attitude. He can make anyone forgive him by his little stupid activities.
We were at the table. I was having potato curry and it was good.
Shiva asked Pari a question, I was in shock and I listened in silence.
'Who was that guy with you last night at the supermarket?'
She smiled and said, 'He was my senior in college.'
Kiran questioned her, 'Or something else?'
My heart was pounding and it wanted air to breathe. I did not want
to hear a 'Yes'.
She said, 'Nothing like that!' She paused and spoke again 'I used
to like him then!'
'What?' Kiran shouted on her and she continued.
'Hey Kiran I said that I used to like him! Not now.!' It was a
great relief and I was feeling ease now.
Pari continued, 'He was mad about me. He liked me very much. One
day he proposed me too, but I said i was not sure.'
'Did you reject him?'
'Yes I almost said No but I liked him. I said I need time. But it
was late and he left after he finished his four years. We met again here.'
You should never have met him again, I thought.
'Does he want to start it again with you?' Kiran joked. My heart
was again in trouble.
She laughed and said, 'No. He cannot! He has Shalini Sharma. They
are already engaged.'
Aaahhh.. What a relief! I am into safe zone now. I feel good. I
almost died but just missed it today. I am not at all ready to have more today.
I want to win her and I am sure I will do. All this makes me lose confidence. I
should have to be confident and should be more clear about her..
