Everyone was busy with the wedding preparations. I was trying to help mom and dad. Everyone wanted Kiran and Monica to be there. They have become a part of this family, those good old college days!
My grandmother was making fun of me. We were having lunch together. She told "Arjun! Do you want me to find a beautiful girl for you?" I smiled and answered.
"Who wants a beautiful girl! I would like to have someone who will become my angel!"
My cousins were teasing me. "Angel!""You are so dreamy!""Angel!" "Angel!"
My mom was there and she countered them all saying "Why would Aunt search someone for him. Today or tomorrow he would introduce his angel to us!"
I was shocked! "What?"
"Nothing!" "My mom said those words and left me alone with my monster cousins. They teased me a lot. Something was fishy! This must be Kiran's doing. How did mom know, I will introduce Pari to them tomorrow?How? Kiran?
The wedding ceremonies were about to start. Every one was so much excited. We were all at Lord Balaji's temple near Uncle's home. We cousins planned to buy some time and to have lots of fun! It was ceremony time, the poojarigaru(religious person who would be guiding through wedding rituals) was hosting the event. Every thing was going smooth. And then we blocked our brother and demanded for gifts. Its fun time!
My uncle(brother's father in law), even though he looks scary.. sometimes he is very humorous! He gave a ten rupee currency note each and told us to celebrate.
OMG! 10rupees! We are not pleased at all!
Uncle made more fun with us! Everyone was laughing at us and we felt good!
Uncle and my dad were having a conversation.
My dad said "None of my sons will let me search a bride for them! They are just keeping me relaxed!" He smiled mischievously at me.
I asked brother "What is exactly going on!Everyone's hiding something?"
He too smiled mischievously "Little brother! You need not hide anything! Everyone knows everything! He sounded more mischievous! Some thing was fishy and I have to find out!
